Spring Updates

On Sunday April 29th the team had all the podium spots covered at 2 separate events. At the Marlton criterium down in southern NJ with the support of Brendan Pierce and John Raheb Zach Koop delivered the first win of the season for the team in the P123 race! It was a big event with a very strong field. Zach got in a mid-race 9 rider break that stayed away. He handily outsprinted his break companions for the win.

John Raheb was also at the Marlton crit and he did the P123 race and the cat3 race. The 3 race came down to a big bunch sprint. There were a few riders who jumped early and since most know of Johns sprinting abilities they looked to him to respond. John decided to go early and after a super long effort he was nipped at the line and got 2nd.

At Prospect Park Mark Alden got a photo finish 3rd place in a field sprint – in spite of attacking relentless throughout the race. Eddie Espitia and Thomas Pennell rode like 4 men to keep Mark in Contention.

May 5-6. Al Blanchard and John Raheb went up to Vermont to contest the very challenging Tour of the Dragons stage race. John got 3rd in the crit and Al rode a strong race to finish 5th overall.
